Located in the heart of historic Phoenixville, the Wooden Spoon Café and Bakery is the second part of our story, and one we invite you to see. We are different from most caterers in this respect. We started out as Julie Zlogar Fine Catering in 1995 and have evolved with a retail café and bakery where our clients can sample some of the food we provide, on site.
At the very least, clients can see for themselves the quality products and services we provide in Phoenixville, as well as make an appointment to discuss their own event requirements.
The Wooden Spoon staff includes Barbi Bonnet, who started her baking career at Le Bec Fin and Metropolitan Bakery in Philadelphia. Well versed in both classic and innovative baking technique, specialties include a range of unique and seasonal cookies, cakes, pies, biscotti, scones; all fresh made and available daily. The Wooden Spoon also has an ever changing list of savory dishes, sandwiches, soups and salad specials that are based on local, seasonal ingredients and the whim of the staff.
If you have been to one of our events then you already know our commitment to fine ingredients and presentation. If you have not, we invite you to a level of quality that will only make you smile.
